All games will be played at Summit Activities Center, Yankton Middle School, Beadle Elementary School or Mount Marty College – L. E. Cimpl Arena.
Roster / Parental Consent Form must be filled out completely with player names and parents/guardians signature prior to first scheduled game. Download the Roster / Parental Consent Form here.
Twenty percent of entry fee charged if tournament cancelled due to weather.
All teams will use intermediate size ball except 9th grade boys. All technical fouls will result in the automatic awarding of 2 points plus the ball out of bounds.
Any player or coach receiving 2nd technical foul for unsportsmanlike conduct will be removed from the game and the gym. Please be 20 to 30 minutes early for your scheduled games.
4th & 5th Grade Teams
- • NO zone for either grade, NO press for 4th grade
- • 5th grade may press the last 2 minutes of the game
- • 16 minute halves with running clock
- • Clock stops at last 2 minutes of each half
- • 3 minute half time
- • 3 one minute timeouts per game
- • 2 minute overtime with 1 timeout per team - no timeouts carried over
- • 3rd overtime is sudden death
6th, 7th & 8th Grade Teams
- • Six minute quarters, clock stops on whistle
- • Teams may press to a 10 point lead
- • Ten minute pre-game warm-up
- • 5 minute half-time breaks
- • 3 one minute timeouts per game
- • 2 minute overtime period with 1 timeout per team - no timeouts carried over
- • 7 team fouls = 1 and 1
- • 10 team fouls = 2 shots
- • 5 personal fouls, player fouls out
- • Coach technical foul is a team foul
- • Player technical foul is a team foul and a personal foul
9th Grade Teams
- • Eight minute quarters, clock stops on whistle
- • Full court presses allowed
- • Ten minute pre-game warm-ups
- • 10 minute half-time breaks
- • two 30 second and three 60 second timeouts per game
- • 4 minute overtime period with 1 timeout per team - no timeouts carried over
- • 7 team fouls = 1 and 1
- • 10 team fouls = 2 shots
- • 5 personal fouls, player fouls out
- • Coach technical foul is a team foul
- • Player technical foul is a team foul and a personal foul
